Over charge of labor

I already told you all what happened and nothing has been solved. We were charged $600 an hour for labor. Please do something about this. I have not received any information about this. No one has contacted me and no one has tried to help. If the better business bureau isnt going to help what is the point of the website. Also pissed off consumer has not done anything but ask how it is going. It is not going well. I have paid for a fix that should not have cost that much.

I have a front load washer. The runner seal around it is so molded and stinks. When seats looked at it the service person said Sears had recalled this machine and it was to late fo me to do anything

Molded rubber seal on washing machine. Sears had a recall but I was not contacted. Is it to late for me to get a discount on a new washer? The machine still wash good but smells like a sespool.

My review #236**** about Sears for six times delaying the delivery of my freezer. Well after constantly calling, e-mailing and chatting with representatives, we finally received our freezer on the 19th of January like they said, finally! From November 24, 2021 and five more delays, we did get it delivered. Of course, I asked for some compensation for our frustration, and they gave us only $40 off my bill; I felt that they should have given more, but I just let it go. We did get the freezer! I have received three notifications that my item will be rescheduled for delivery. I do not understand why my order is taking so long to be shipped. If I ordered something that was said to be in-stock at the time of purchase on your website on May 28th, 2020 and it is now July 14th once again I am being told that it will be another month before I receive my item - this is absolutely unacceptable. No one has contacted with an explanation as to what is going and/or why is this happening. All that I am looking for is just basic customer service practice... a FOLLOW-UP call or e-mail would be greatly appreciated along with an offer to credit my shipping costs. I look forward to hearing from someone in your organization soon. - Frustrated Consumer

Do not buy the extended warranty service coverage

I purchased a Sears refridgerator with the extended warranty that includes a once a year free service check of the unit with no charge. I had the refridgerator for 8 months & the ice maker would not make ice. I called the warranty dept and was speaking or trying to speak with the very bad speaking english rep. Terrible process & took over a half hour. Service day came & they tell you from 8:30-5 window. Ridiculous. They said they would call within a half hr if showing up. They did not call & just showed up & I had gone to the local store not even 5 min away. They called my house number not my cell as instructed. So he left. Called again to reschedule and again a non english person and took 1 hr. to rescedule. Day of service I get a call from technician he would be at my house in 1 hr and it would be $109.16 fir the service call plus parts. I told him it was under warranty and he said no. I told him to forget it and hung up. About 45 min later he called back and said he would fix it under warranty. I told him I dont trust you. after you tried to rip me off and hung up. This has been a nightmare to get it fixed and goung to return the refridgerator.

Make sure the warranty is clear .. they r good at misrepresenting and not being able to get staight to someone to speak to.. left hand doesnt know what the right says..

finally because of my persistence and a service tech who saw and understood what was going on went to his super and got him to personally go to bat for me I got a new fridge. I luv it and realize now with new ice maker like my old one that the original never worked right.. and ur talking about an appliance that cost over 2000. dollars plus tax and warranty adding up to 800. originally.

Terrible service

Called Sears the week of June third, told them my maytag refrigerator was warm inside, they said someone would be there on the 11th, the repair man came lost everything in refrigerator, said he had to order part will be back on the 17th, had me completely turn off refrigerator, then lost all my condiments they then cancelled the appointment till the 21st, I asked them if someone else could come they said not tillFriday, I called the next day to see if there were any possible cancellations, they said no someone will be here Friday. I have 2 grandchildren living with me and have lost a lot of food, for 2 weeks now they have been eating fast food. . My kitchen is a disaster , with shelves and water leaking from refrigerator, having to wipe up costaty. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare.

My Nightmare that Never Ended

I purchased a built-in dishwasher from Sears on their Website. It was advertised at a good price, the bonus they offered was they included a garbage disposal. The dishwasher that was right in front of me, was not available in White. After many, many wasted hours o their website, I was NEVER able to click, Purchase. I then spent countless hours with a CHAT PERSON, that didn't accomplish anything and I had to finally call Sears, I had to tell a live person ALL ABOUT THE LAST 5 HOURS, & that I still could not purchase their dishwasher, with the FREE garbage disposal. I did finally purchase a dishwasher, NOT the one that was on their webpage, I was guaranteed by the CHAT PERSON, that YES, I would still receive a FREE garbage disposal, Then the the REAL LIVE PERSON that assisted me to finalize the sale, again, I was promised, I was guaranteed that without a doubt, YES, the FREE garbage disposal would be delivered with the dishwasher, IT WAS NOT DELIVERED, I place numerous calls & I had to speak to representatives from Vietnam. If I received a nickel for everytime I had to ask the 5-6 people, PLEASE REPEAT THAT, it would have paid for the dishwasher. Finally, I was able to receive a call from a person in AMERICA, after hours of explaining all of the issues, after she could see notes about the FREE disposal, after another PROMISE, that YES, I would be shipped my FREE disposal, I HAVE NOT TO THIS DATE RECEIVED ANYTHING. I eventually called back, I was told that it was my responsibility to gather all of the notes, all of the conversation, and my responsibility to mail them to a complaint center. This was, after a lot of anger that SEARS created, I thought that SEARS has become nothing less than a CON company. SEARS have became only a SHAME COMPANY.

Worst dishwasher in the world

Boughtt new im may 2018..has been repaired three times..not working again...doesnt clean well, takes almost 3 hrs to run a load..if any liquid drips into the tub it will not work until you dry it...miss my bosch badly..this is complete junk

Exploding washer lid

On Sept 1, 2018, I was in my kitchen when I heard a loud explosion that sounded like a bottle of something exploding. I very carefully went into my laundry room and saw that the lid to my washer had literally exploded upward, spraying shards of glass all over my laundry room even on the shelf that is above the washer and all over my clothes that were in the laundry basket and the floor. I Immediately called the warranty department at sears and told them what happened and she told me that the washer had a recall on it for the lids doing that because it was defective and said that I would get a new washer. The washer was purchased in January of this year so it is only 10 months old and I paid $1000 for it. I have the Sears extended warranty on it so I thought this would not be a problem. I then received a phone call telling me that they were going to send out a technician to take pictures of it. The tech. guy came and took pictures of it and said that he was just going to replace the lid. I expressed my concerns about all of the glass falling into my washer and how was he going to get all the minute pieces of glass out of the bottom of the tub. he told me that he would have to take the washer apart and vacuum it out! I had vacuumed the floor after it happened and we had put newspaper over the lid because it continued to pop glass up and over everything for the 5 days that it took for him to get here to look at the washer. The glass is so tiny that you can't see it and even after being vaccumed twice I got 2 small pieces of glass in my foot. If the glass is that small, how in the world are they going to get it out of the inside of the washer?!! I wrote a letter to the Sears consumer complaints department 2 weeks ago and still have not heard from them either from e-mail or phone and when I call all of the phone numbers to Sears including the corporate headquarters, all I get is someone that is from the Phillipines or someone whose accent is so bad that I am unable to understand them!!! It would be so nice if I could be able to talk to someone from the US about this. And I have been without a washer for over a month now and we live out in the country where there is no laundry mats. So don't buy anything from Sears!!!

Sears failed to deliver the purchased washer and dryer but delivered the stacking unit that keeps the two together. After several hours of discussion about the washer and dryer (Sears personnel could not answer basic questions about voltage needs) it was determined that they would not work in my apt. I canceled the order. Sears mistakenly only canceled the washer and not the dryer and stacking unit. They insist I have to buy the stacking unit. This is a crazy company!

Nightmare from Sears

I noticed that my refrigerator was not cooling and I contacted Sears Repair team to come out . After I paid the $75.00 for the diagnostic (did not give me a receipt), I was told that I would be given a receipt once when the repairmen finished the job. I was informed that the motor to my refrigerator had to be replaced. Parts were to be shipped to my address and I was to call Sears Repair team when they arrived so that they could come out and finish the job. Long story short... The motor was not included in the parts. I contacted Sears to come out which they did on July 24, 2018! We are now into the middle of September! The motor finally arrived today September 13, 2018. I called Sears to make the appointment to finish the job and they will not be out until October 4, 2018!!!! I decided to do live chat with Sears instead of calling them directly. I was able to print out the transcript of the phone call. I am helping my mom with this issue and I had to use my lunch and come in early to deal with Sears.. Sears as we remember them is no more... buy from someone else! Warranty means nothing did not honor mine.. I was entitled to a new refrigerator if the problem went beyond 21 days which it did. When I call warranty dept. they told me no, that they were going to fix the refrigerator instead, so heads up.. the warranty is no good Sears will not honor it! I have lost time and money dealing with these fools. Oh, I am still paying on a refrigerator that has not worked in almost 3 months. Reached out to company and basically no one knew what to do.. Oh, and they are trying to charge me for another diagnostic???? I already paid this during the first visit!!!!

This happened to me last month! I purchased a Dishwasher from Sears located at the Fairfield Mall in Beavercreek, Ohio. I purchased the Dishwasher a month of two before it was installed because it was on sale and we were remodeling our Kitchen. Well when we final finished with the remodeling the contractor connected the Dishwasher up and it didn't dry the dishes. So I called and Chatted with a person on line, he gave me another number to call, I called that number and this person told me I had to call the another number where I got the Dishwasher from. These calls went on for two hours. I told her no, you call the store. This was the biggest headache I have every had with Sears. my mother has used Sears for over I know fifty of more years, the customer service is terrible now there. Well, I finally got a brand new Dishwasher, My husband to the location and turned in the damage one for a brand new Dishwasher after I said I was going to call Corp. I will never shop at Sears again, my store will be LOWES, beautiful customer service!

Plastic rollers and clips

I bought this dishwasher in nov 2017. The clips that hold the upper rack are plastic and keep falling off .....the roller won’t hold the top rack when it is filled with dishes. After putting that clip n time after time I finally put gorilla glue on it. I’m still very unhappy with this appliance and don’t plan to buy other pplian es from sears. Or at least not Kenmore. I have a Kenmore washing machine and a dryer. The dishwasher. And a refrigerator....... I’ve been a fan of Kenmore but this dishwasher is a lemon! It’s a Kenmore Elite Ultraclean and was more than $800. Thanks for letting me rant. I do hope that I will hear from someone in your compliant department.. I didn’t think it would be of any help to go to the retail store where I purchased it. I’m also wondering if you’ve had complaints on this product from other loyal customers.

Buyer Be Where

I built my house in 2008. I bought the Kenmore Elite series appliances. I have had nothing but problems since day one. Wall oven went out right off the bat. Over heated when I used cleaning cycle. It was under warranty, repair guy came and fixed it. Just had to hit reset button. He told me that it would do it again and showed me how to reset it. Happened almost every time I cleaned it, and I have to put it out of the wall every to reset it. Stove top, burner heats to high temp even if I have it set on a low temp. Dishwasher. Been repaired 3 times, the metal strainer holes are to small and catches every little thing that try's to go through it. Not to mention the baskets doesn't roll out correctly. Refrigerator, ice maker and water dispenser no longer works. Sears sent repair guys out but warranty eventually ran out. I was offered to renew warranty for serval hundred dollars each time it ran out. I just quit renew warranty because I had almost as much money tried up in warranty as I did appliances. I is now 2018 and I have no working oven, and over heating stove, a dishwasher that only cleans dishes on the bottom and a refrigerator that is completely falling apart. This list of problems that I have had with these appliance goes on and on. Just know that if your planning on buying Kenmore appliances be prepared for troubles. Time to buy new appliances and they will not come from Sears. BMW Big Money Wasted.
